K-Laser®

Restorative energy

Very useful in cases of inflammation, skin lesions or other conditions, the K-Laser® completes the modern equipment of Vétérinaire des Plaines-du-Loup

Light as a source of healing

This therapeutic laser works by photobiomodulation. Thanks to its different wavelengths, K-Laser® acts directly at the heart of the cells to accelerate the natural process of cell regeneration. It boosts tissue repair and has analgesic, anti-inflammatory and healing effects..

Principles of laser therapy:

  • The analgesic effects of laser radiation are well documented and lie in its action on the main excitatory neuromediators involved in the physiopathology of pain. The laser increases the production of endorphins.
  • The anti-inflammatory effects of K-Laser® come from its action on inflammatory mediators, both cellular (macrophages, neutrophils, lymphocytes) and molecular (prostaglandins, interleukins).
  • The anti-oedema effect comes from increased circulation with better oxygenation of the tissues, thus accelerating angiogenesis and healing. It also improves lymphatique drainage.
  • Photobiomodulation improves the wound healing process, with a proliferation of growth factors in the various tissues and an increase in cell regeneration and synthesis (collagen, elastin, myelin, etc.). It improves functional recovery after nerve repair surgery, for example. This laser restores damaged muscle fibres and activates satellite and myogenic cells, relaunching the regeneration of muscle tissue. The same is true of collagen fibres, which are remodelled and reorganised to improve tissue elasticity, boosting the regeneration of muscle tissue. Collagen fibres are also remodelled and reorganised to improve tissue elasticity.
