A doctor of veterinary medicine from the University of Bern, Marc Vingerhoets is also the founder and director of the Cabinet Vétérinaire des Bergières, which was set up in 1997 and became Vétérinaire des Plaines-du-Loup in 2021.
Dr Vingerhoets first trained in a university environment during a residency at the University of Berne, before extending his knowledge of pet medicine and surgery with an internship at the University of Pennsylvania in the USA. Before embarking on the adventure of professional independence, he acquired a strong knowledge of business management by completing an MBA (Master of Business Administration) at the Faculté des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Lausanne.
Not content with these different experiences and qualifications, Dr Vingerhoets went on to specialize in orthopaedic surgery, minimally invasive surgery and endoscopy (arthroscopy, laparoscopy, rhinoscopy, gastroscopy, etc.).
Many patients are referred to him by various colleagues.
